For the second year, we’re so excited to once again bepartnering with the wonderful local Costa family & their team at Victoria Christmas Tree Farm to bring you the best Christmas Tree candle you’ve ever smelt!
Our Costa Family Christmas Tree Farm candle was inspired by the owners of Victoria Christmas Tree Farm who have been growing Christmas trees and bringing Christmas magic to Ballarat for over 50 years.
This wonderful tradition started when Peter Costa was a child and his Dad began selling Christmas trees in Melbourne, opposite the Vic Market.
He fondly remembers helping his Dad with this new venture, gradually selling in more locations - even the family home!
In the late 80’s, Alex Snr (Peter’s dad), opened his very own Christmas tree farm in Napoleons, where Peter continued to help and expand the family business.
When Peter had his own son Alex Jr, he introduced him to the business, helping him to learn the ropes and continue his father’s legacy.
In 2017, Peter and Alex Jr took over the farm from their father and grandfather, after working alongside him in the business from as early as they both can remember.
Now in 2022, the Costa Family continues to encourage others to carry on with one of the most important Christmas traditions a family could have; buying a REAL Christmas tree!
After working through the Christmas season for so many years, the Costa Family understand how difficult this time of year can be for many and each year support local families and communities by donating trees, raising money through their sausage sizzle and local raffle.
We could not be more honored to highlight this wonderful family and their gorgeous farm, and we hope that you love this candle as much as we do!
A portion of all proceeds from this candle will be donated to the Costa Family’s charity of choice - CFA!
